Endorsement Prep. Program in ELL (PreK-12)

WGU offers an affordable, accredited, online English Language Learning Endorsement (PreK–12), for already licensed teachers ready to help meet the nationwide need for more ELL and ESL teachers. This program prepares teachers for success in language acquisition settings. Curriculum areas of study include: culture, language production, theories of second language acquisition, assessment theory and practice, planning and implementing instruction, and a field experience. The program is nationally recognized by the Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) International Association. WGU also offers a master’s degree program in English Language Learning (PreK–12).
