Knowledge may be power, but having the wisdom and foresight to use this knowledge to transform lives, organizations and even nations—that is leadership. And that is the heart of our Ph.D. program.
Conducted online, the Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership uses autonomous learning methods that require students to learn independently, but not alone. Our values-oriented educational perspective is based on a biblical foundation and Christian worldview, providing a substantive distinctive in this program. Students focus their doctoral studies by selecting one of five majors.

-Entrepreneurial Leadership
-Global Leadership
-Human Resource Development
-Organizational Leadership
-University Teaching & Research
The Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership can be completed in a minimum of three and a half years, but is usually completed in four to four and a half years. The maximum time allowed to complete the program is seven years, and a minimum of 60 credit hours is required beyond the master's degree to complete the Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. Doctoral students may choose to receive the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies once they have successfully completed 30 credit hours of coursework.
Rather than the mere accumulation of credits, it is the demonstration of independent scholarly ability at the doctoral level that is required to successfully complete the program. All students pursuing the Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership must complete the following:
-All on-campus residencies
-All required coursework
-Successful completion of comprehensive exams following completion of all coursework
-Fulfillment of all doctoral dissertation requirements including final oral defense
