MS in Psychology

PAU offers an innovative and highly structured part-time 2-year Master of Science degree in Psychology. This program is a two-year distance-learning, part-time program with a one-week on-campus residency requirement, designed for working adults who are interested in earning their Master's Degree in Psychology in order to prepare for doctoral programs in psychology, or to apply their master's studies to their existing career, from a university with a history of excellence in education, and who also offers two doctoral programs in Clinical Psychology that are accredited by the APA. Students in this program: -Want to continue your education without relocating -Want to study part-time and continue to work -Are interested in earning a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and would like to make sure that all of your M.S. credits will transfer -Want to work with outstanding faculty The Distance Learning Master of Science in Psychology program can be undertaken as a terminal degree program, or as a bridge to apply into the Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University. Graduates of the M.S. program who have demonstrated academic competence can apply to transition from the M.S. Psychology into the Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology program, and if admitted, transfer all credits from the M.S. into the Ph.D. program, and thus begin the Ph.D. program as second year students. This program can also lead you to great career opportunities in education, research, business, community college teaching, and other related fields.
