Ph.D. Business Psychology, I/O Track
Students of the Ph.D. Business Psychology, I/O Track program graduate ready for an interesting and expanding career field as a doctoral psychologist. Whether the focus is in academic research, corporate consulting, or any other workplace opportunities, the program prepares graduates to succeed and excel.
During the first two years of the program, students will earn an M.A. degree in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology program, which acts as a fundamental base for the doctorate information.
The school provides a unique blend of doctoral curriculum experiences in clinical and industrial or organizational psychology, which are paired and integrated with business courses. This special combination prepares students to effectively conduct empirical research with an approach that contributes a multidisciplinary body of knowledge to reference in solving organizational and business problems with individuals and groups in the I/O field. The program has created a carefully crafted mix of research skills with psychological theory to help graduates succeed in their roles in academia as leaders or consultants.
