You will be prepared for emerging management opportunities in sports areas requiring understanding of analytics and new technologies, including social media, interactive spectatorship, mobile technology, fantasy sports, e-sports gaming, performance data analytics and virtual reality. Typical roles could include director of operations, sports information manager, business development manager, advertising sales representative, sponsorship sales representative, eSports manager, and other related positions across the industry.
Created by industry professionals, it was also developed in consultation with a council of sports management leaders to ensure that its curriculum is relevant and applicable to today’s workplace. In fact, the curriculum was carefully constructed to provide the field-specific knowledge and skillsets that graduates of current sports management programs are lacking.
