M.S. in Data Science
With the exponential growth of big data, companies across various industries are looking for data scientists to inform data-driven ideas and methods for growth. Students in Seton Hall’s M.S. in Data Science program learn cutting-edge techniques to analyze and uncover actionable insights from data through data mining, machine learning, data visualization and cloud computing.
Our program provides a rigorous curriculum that trains the practical skills needed for internships and full-time employment as data scientists – including gaining skills in cloud computing technology and in Tableau, which allows students to pursue certification in both Amazon Web Services and Tableau.
Their education will be further bolstered by real world projects and internships, made possible through the program's active relationships with such leading companies as Google, Facebook, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Celgene, Comcast and Chase.
Students take courses both on-campus and online and can complete the program in as little as 16 months. A 30-credit program, Seton Hall’s M.S. in Data Science is designed for students who have completed undergraduate degrees in science, mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics or economics.
