Program Description:

A successful project manager faces challenges in completing projects on time, within budget and with the desired results. With these needs in mind, the School of Engineering & Applied Science offers both degree and non-degree education opportunities for professionals. Studies in the Master's of Project Management program are offered the following courses: PM Focus courses Select eight of the following courses: Foundations of Project Management* Applying Innovation With Organizations* Managing Teams and Projects* Project Planning and Administration* Project Management Standards* Developing Leadership for Professionals Group Dynamics in Project Team Performance Strategies of Projects, Programs and Portfolios Advances in Project Management General Business Courses Select three courses: Strategic Management of Technology Information Management and Enterprise Transformation The Art and Science of Risk Management Financial Principles of the Company Principles of Operations Management Productivity and Quality Control Public Speaking and Presentation Skills for Technical Professionals Elective Courses One additional elective course is needed to fulfill the requirements of the program *If you complete the five required courses for the Graduate Certificate in Project Management, you may earn the Master of Project management and the Graduate Certificate in Project Management. However, you must submit an application and be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Project Management.
