Program Description:

The ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA program is the result of a long-lasting, close cooperation between the renowned French business school ESSEC and Mannheim Business School. It was designed to reach one goal: To prepare executives for the challenges of leadership. The program provides successful managers with a minimum of five years of professional work experience with world-class executive education. The curriculum compromises a diverse range of teaching methods, including, amongst others, individual work, international residencies, and conferences with senior experts, enabling our participants to acquire an integrated and systematic perspective on European and international business. The concept provides innovative approaches to decision-making and problem-solving processes and refines the communications, people management, leadership, and teamworking skills of the participants. The modular format is organized into eight 6-day modules and runs over a period of 18 months. In between these modules, extensive individual work and team work is required. The modules are split between the two locations, with 4 taking place in Mannheim and the other four in Paris. The program also includes three international residencies, which last from 5 to 11 days. Besides the two European residencies, which may take place in locations such as Madrid, Brussels and Budapest, one longer residency will be held in Asia. The weekend format is a 18-month part-time program for managers. The program comprises 25 weekend modules, which take place in Mannheim every other week on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as three 5-day sessions. In addition, the participants will visit three of our partner business schools during international residencies for a period of up to ten days.
